Terms of service
Last updated September 2024
1. Introduction
Welcome to Adfleet. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services provided by The Makers Collective LTD, registered in the UK. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Adfleet is a service provider that matches local advertisers with local drivers, allowing drivers to get paid for having advertising placed on their vehicles.
3. Registration
Drivers are required to register with Adfleet’s database via our driver signup form. The information collected includes your name, address, phone number, email address, vehicle make, model, year, and details about your driving habits and advertising preferences. This information is used to communicate with you, plan campaigns, and select the most relevant drivers for advertisers.
4. Payment
For businesses, we accept credit card payments. Terms and conditions related to payments will be directed to drivers only.
5. Responsibilities of Drivers
Drivers may not tamper with or remove the ads placed on their vehicles.
Drivers should drive responsibly and maintain their vehicles to an acceptable standard while ads are in place.
Drivers should not use their vehicles in a way that may reflect poorly on advertisers.
A minimum distance of 50 miles per week is required during a campaign, unless stated otherwise. If minimum distance requirements are not met, we may leave ads in place until requirements are met, or adjust driver payments accordingly.
6. Intellectual Property
Adfleet’s key intellectual property includes the Adfleet wordmark logo.
7. Content Submission
Drivers can submit photos and videos of their vehicles with ad placements via our social channels. We may also request reviews via email to be displayed on our website. All submitted content will be stored on our servers or databases.
8. Data Collection and Use
We collect driver names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and driving locations/habits. This information is used for communication, planning campaigns, and selecting relevant drivers for advertisers.
9. Third-Party Services
We work with Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for monitoring web traffic, and Zapier for database hosting. Local fitting/printing contractors are used to fit and remove ads from driver vehicles.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England, in the Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved through liaison with our customer service team or arbitration.
12. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. Drivers will be notified of any changes via email.
13. Limitation of Liability
We will take reasonable care but are not responsible for any damage incurred to vehicles during the fitting or removal of ads. Such issues should be resolved through the driver’s own insurance company. Drivers agree to notify our team of any cosmetic changes or repairs that may affect the adhesion of our ads, or their ability to be removed without damage (such as vehicle resprays or non standard paintwork). Drivers are responsible for notifying their insurer about running ads on their vehicles, and by using our service, they implicitly agree to do so. Adfleet is not liable for any refusal of insurers to pay out on policies as a result of using our service.
14. Termination
Either Adfleet or a driver can terminate an agreement or participation in the service at any time via written notice.
